The PI-CASC Student Research Symposium was held on April 5, 2022, in Guam during the 13th UOG Conference on Island Sustainability.
Our May “Slice of PI-CASC” seminar will be presented by Dr. Lucas Fortini (USGS) and Dr. Scott Fretz (DLNR) who will discuss efforts to improve planning to preserve rare native species threatened by climate change and other factors.

PI-CASC, with its partner Hawaiʻi Sea Grant and other university and government partners, conducted a series of conversations focused on sea-level rise, bringing together focus groups from university and government science and resource management organizations to address ongoing and emerging science information needs while maximizing shared capacity and avoiding duplication of efforts.
