FEDERAL PROJECTS

Federal Project Explorer site

Our PI-CASC efforts support actionable science research led by federal agency employees, university consortium researchers, as well as undergraduate and graduate students, all focused on delivering science that helps fish, wildlife, water, land, and people adapt to a changing climate. Projects selected and funded directly through USGS sources are also presented on a federally maintained website, including additional information like project status and links to a USGS database of project data and products. Please visit this Project Explorer to learn more about PI-CASC’s federal projects.

CASC Network website

From wildfires to sea-level rise, climate change creates evolving challenges for ecosystems across the Nation. The USGS National and Regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) is a partnership-driven program that teams scientists with natural and cultural resource managers and local communities to help adapt to a changing climate. For more information about the full CASC network, please visit the Federal CASC Network website.
