The Science to Management and Policy Professional Development Workshop for PI-CASC Scholars is set for March 2, 2022 HST / March 3, 2022 CHST.
Basic applications of remote sensing, satellite image processing, and geographic information systems will be taught at an upcoming University of Guam virtual workshop, coordinated in part by PI-CASC.

On Nov. 20th, UH Hilo’s Manager Climate Corps hosted an interactive workshop involving local natural and cultural resource managers, researchers, graduate students, and community members to discuss current and near-future research needs and potential research support to help Hawaiʻi Island communities adapt to climate change impacts.
In August of 2016, the PI-CASC Climate Change Boot Camp utilized a wide variety of in-person experiences and multiple ways of knowing to expand local professional networks, while improving our understanding of the worldviews of others.
In January 2016, the MCC invited all interested UH Hilo faculty to attend knowledge co-production workshops on campus after the analysis of our 2015 Manager Needs Assessment.
