Patrick Grady
Patrick Grady is an Environmental Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialist who splits his time between the Pacific Islands Climate Adaptation Science Center and Hawaiʻi Sea Grant. He supports a wide variety of projects for both organizations, applying his expertise in GIS, data management, and communications. Combining these technical skills with his love of fostering stakeholder relationships, he consistently counts his blessings in being able to assist in the Pacific’s conservation battle.
Patrick studied GIS, earth science, and coastal resource management at universities in both the USA and Australia. He has been a member of the University of Hawaiʻi ʻohana for the past 8 plus years, having also worked on projects with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Geological Survey, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to name a few. He loves calling Hawaiʻi home and takes immense pride in the important work and broader conservation community of which he is a part.
