Maya-Lin Green
Maya-Lin Green is the Education and Communications Fellow for PI-CASC, a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Hawaiʻi, Hilo, majoring in communications, and the proud mom of two great kids and two abnormally large cats. In her PI-CASC role, she engages communities across Hawaiʻi and beyond to expand holistic education models in climate adaptation while building strategic communications that increase reach and collaboration.
As a university student, Maya-Lin has written for the student-run paper, was named on the Dean’s List for three consecutive semesters (and counting), and is a multi-scholarship awardee. Born and raised in Philadelphia, her experience includes education, project management, community engagement, strategic communications, journalism, and staying cool as a cucumber under pressure.
