MJ Mazurek is a vertebrate wildlife biologist currently working as the Invasive Species Team Manager and Brown Treesnake Program Coordinator for the Pacific Islands Fish and Wildlife Office in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. In the past 10 years, MJ has focused on brown treesnake and vertebrate invasive species interdiction, control, management, eradication, and strategic planning in the Mariana Islands and Hawaiʻi. Prior to her time in the Pacific, MJ worked in northern California on wildlife management projects related to wildlife habitat selection in managed forests. MJ earned a B.S. in Biology at the University of Central Florida and a M.S. in Natural Resources Management from Humboldt State University.
