Katy Hintzen

Katy Hintzen is a Climate Adaptation Services Liaison. Her work focuses on helping Pacific Islands communities prepare for and adapt to climate change and fostering collaborative partnership between NOAA Sea Grant and USGS Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASC) to facilitate integration of federally funded research and end-user needs focused on climate adaptation. In addition to her climate adaptation portfolio, Katy works to further reciprocal and equitable partnerships between coastal communities, resource stewards, and researchers, and is part of the author team that developed the Kūlana Noiʻi.
