John I. Borja is the communications coordinator for the University of Guam’s side of PI-CASC. He provides support for Guam activities through writing, photography, and design work. He also manages the social media accounts for the PI-CASC consortium, where he produces posts to effectively promote and distribute the center’s news and events. He provides the same support for NASA Guam EPSCoR, another program housed within UOG.
John’s background is primarily in journalism. He served as an environment and infrastructure reporter and producer for the Pacific Daily News, and a lifestyle and business writer for Glimpses Publications. He still writes in a freelance capacity for UOG, PDN, and the Real Estate Journal. His other previous roles include a radio announcer for a variety station, an administrative assistant for a health grant, and a social media coordinator for a car dealership.
