Brad Romine talks Climate Week on Bytemarks Café

Brad RomineThis year started off with a bang for PI-CASC as we participated in the cooperative Climate Week with our two-day 2023 Hawaiʻi Climate Summit on January 10th/11th.

Then this week, University Consortium Deputy Director Dr. Brad Romine discussed the successful summit and other climate activities on the Hawaiʻi Public Radio talk show, Bytemarks Café. Hosted by Burt Lum, the show showcases innovation and creativity in Hawaiʻi’s tech community, and for this episode spent half the show talking with Romine and Leah Laramee (Hawaiʻi Climate Commission Coordinator) about Climate Week activities, goals of PI-CASC and the Hawaiʻi Climate Commission, and an amazing pledge of $100 million by Governor Green at the Climate Week event, to support addressing climate change impacts across the state. Listen to the interview to hear about these efforts! (The interview of these two starts at the 10:26 mark.)
