Native Outplanting & Plant Use Workshop with Liko Nā Pilina
Monday, April 21 at 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Keaukaha MR, near Hilo Airport
Join Liko Nā Pilina hybrid forest restoration project to outplant native and canoe plants and weed around existing outplants. Participate in an hour-long workshop on different uses for the plants found in a hybrid forest. Open to members of Hawaiʻi CC, UH Hilo and the Hawaiiʻi Island community.
Lā Honua ~ Earth Day is a multi-day celebration for our Hawaiʻi CC and UH Hilo students, faculty and staff, K-12 students and educators, and community members, featuring in-person activities both on campus and in our communities ma uka and ma kai and virtual offerings, too!
