Our October “Slice of PI-CASC” seminar will be presented by Dr. Leah Bremer and her research partners Dr. Zoe Hastings and Maile Wong, who will discuss their efforts at agroforestry restoration.
PI-CASC and Alaska CASC scientists and students came together in late July to build upon collaborative efforts in research across both regions.
Our 2022 SURF season ended last week with a hybrid final symposium for the students to present their summer work.
Our September “Slice of PI-CASC” seminar will be presented by Dr. John Burns, Assistant Professor at UH Hilo, who will discuss his collaborative project with Alaska CASC using innovative technology to analyze how river discharge affects coastal ecosystems.
