Our February “Slice of PI-CASC” seminar will be presented by Dr. Ryan Perroy, Associate Professor at UH Hilo, discussing an ongoing project to inventory the entire coastline of Hawaiʻi Island in an effort to prepare for rising sea levels.
Our January “Slice of PI-CASC” seminar will be presented by Dr. Romina King, PI-CASC Lead at UOG, exploring the Climate Adaptation Research for Managers (CARM) program to build technical capacity on the island.
A Hawaiʻi Island-based coastal setback project and its leaders were featured in a video during a panel of community adaptation and resilience leaders discussing adaptation projects from across the U.S. on November 8, 2021.
Pacific RISCC was honored to present some of their perspectives through video at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) hosted the World Conservation Congress (WCC) in Marseille, France on September 6, 2021.
An inspiring video of a PI-CASC-funded Hawai’i Island was highlighted for a global audience, sharing the effectiveness of knowledge co-production to tackling climate change adaptation challenges.
