National Park Service hiring GIS Specialist

Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park is now hiring for a term GS-09 GIS Specialist to support natural resources management GIS data collection, data management and processing, cartography and fieldwork. They are looking for someone who is capable of helping us create and maintain functional geodatabases and mobile mapping applications for a variety of natural resources projects including wildlife, fencing, invasive plants and restoration. The ability to work with users from a wide variety of GIS backgrounds and to work in rugged, remote field environments in all weather conditions is required.
