Community Heat Action Checklist Tool

The White House announced the publication of a Draft Community Heat Action Checklist, a new tool for local governments taking their first critical steps towards planning and preparing for extreme heat. The Checklist is being released as a draft document, including a 30-day public comment period. The public is invited to submit comments by October 15th, 2024 at 5pm ET.
This is one of several efforts to build on the National Climate Resilience Framework, last year’s White House Summit on Building Climate Resilient Communities, and the recently-released Climate Resilience Game Changers Assessment.
